IZAAK AZANEI is a contemporary British label, founded in London in 2014 by sisters Karishma, Roshni and Deeya Khemlani. With backgrounds studying at both The London School of Economics and Parsons School of Design New York, IZAAK AZANEI was born out of a desire to fuse both contemporary and luxury aesthetics, to create an elevated yet affordable collection more in line with the versatile needs of the cosmopolitan cool-set. Having traveled extensively growing up, they became aware of the gap in the market for effortless staples that could work seamlessly with any outfit, whilst maintaining relevance over-time in a trans-seasonal wardrobe. They early found their niche in elevated knitwear, using refined shapes and rich textures to revamp everyday staples into iconic pieces. The brand’s very first design, ‘The Trim Cardigan’ quite quickly became a go-to favourite amongst celebrities and influencers, including Olivia Palermo, who featured the brand as a 2018 Emerging Designer To Watch. They have since expanded beyond knitwear to produce a ready-to-wear collection in line with their design ethos of effortless, statement luxury yet easy-to-wear pieces, working with pure silks, feathers and embellishments. All fur within the collections is strictly ethically sourced and certified from the renowned Saga Furs in Finland, representing the highest quality within the industry. The designers also work extensively with faux fur. The brand is presented every season in Paris during Fashion Week, and has garnered an impressive list of stockists including Bergdorf Goodman, Harrods, Saks, Harvey Nichols, Farfetch and Joyce Hong Kong.
